Greenback Capital is seeking a skilled Volunteer and Customer Engagement Manager to lead the front-line engagement at BaseCamp.

This role blends volunteer management with customer service excellence to ensure patrons enjoy a seamless experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for recruiting, training, and motivating volunteers while managing patron communication channels.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and motivational skills, excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities, and be comfortable working in fast-paced, dynamic environments.

The Volunteer and Customer Engagement Manager will oversee volunteer welfare, motivation, and recognition programs, develop and execute customer engagement strategies, and resolve customer complaints on-site and online.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about festivals, live events, and community engagement and has a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.

The basecamp team works as a turnkey partner for festivals or as an independent side-by-side operator.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruit, train, and schedule volunteers for pre-event setup, live event operations, and pack-down.
  • Oversight of volunteer welfare, motivation, and recognition programs.
  • Development and execution of customer engagement strategies.
  • Resolution of customer complaints on-site and online.
