Job Title: Service Manager

Overview:

The Service Manager is responsible for overseeing project execution from start to finish, ensuring productivity and customer satisfaction. This role involves managing site projects, acting as the field execution owner for customers, and enforcing compliance with local legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops cost estimates using established standards.
  • Plans, prepares, and manages projects by reviewing requirements, setting up projects, mapping POs, and executing against cost estimates.
  • Serves as the primary customer interface and communicates with P&L, Customer Service Manager, CSL, and CPM.
  • Reviews and verifies forecasts to maximize utilization and meet catalog targets.
  • Communicates with Field Service Coordinators, Resource Managers, EHS Managers, and Staff Project Managers to update job status and ensure project success.
  • Leads daily project execution status calls and monitors progress and costs with the support of the project controls team.
  • Conducts audits and inspections on work teams during installation, commissioning, receiving, operation, and maintenance activities.
  • Analyzes and reports project close-out metrics to determine proximity to operating plan targets.
  • Manages PO limit reports, placed employees without POs, unbilled shipments, accounts receivable, and credit card aging to remain within cost targets.
  • Implements corrective actions based on Safety Observations, Advanced Communication Notifications, and Root Cause Analyses.
  • Rewards and recognizes strong performance on the job site via site compensation/incentive process.
  • Ensures EHS standards at site are met by working with Site EHS Specialists to develop and execute FME plans, customer requirements, and overall OneGE EHS plan compliance and completion.

Requirements:

  • 7-10 years applicable experience and demonstrated success/knowledge.
  • 5+ years managing and developing employees.
  • 5+ years of specialized/industry experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field with minimum 5 years project management experience.
  • English proficiency required.
