Facilities Director Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Director to join our team.

  • Draft operational reports and proposals, ensuring seamless facility operations.
  • Foster strong relationships with health campuses, research institutions, and the broader health community.
  • Stay up-to-date on facilities issues, trends, policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to property leasing strategies and support negotiations with prospective tenants.
  • Develop and implement facility maintenance plans, ensuring optimal operation and resource efficiency.
  • Manage facilities maintenance budgets, including forecasting, expense tracking, and cost analysis.
  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors to obtain necessary services, materials, and equipment for facility repairs and improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and codes for facility operation and maintenance.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in facilities management or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of building systems, regulations, and codes.
  • Excellent project management, budgeting, and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication with employees, contractors, vendors, and government officials.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Experience managing minor works programs and third-party projects.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and allocate resources.
  • Ability to provide timely reporting.
  • Ability to manage multiple competing tasks to timelines and changing schedules.
