Supervisory Role in a Dynamic Resort Environment

Our resort is seeking an experienced and skilled Food and Beverage Supervisor to oversee the smooth operation of our high-quality Japanese dining venue.

About the Position

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated and organized individual to lead a team and deliver excellent guest experiences in a fast-paced and dynamic resort setting.

Responsibilities

- Oversee a team to ensure superior guest service quality.
- Coordinate shift changes, manage leave, and ensure adequate team coverage.
- Facilitate regular team meetings and foster a positive work environment.
- Train and develop Food and Beverage staff to enhance their skills and performance.
- Collaborate with other Supervisors and be willing to support other areas as needed.

Requirements

- Previous experience in food and beverage supervision is essential.
- Understanding of a Japanese restaurant concept is required.
- Intermediate knowledge of wine and sake is beneficial.
- Current QLD RSA certification is mandatory.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to motivate a team are necessary.
- A proactive approach with the ability to work under pressure is essential.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are required.
- Excellent grooming standards and professionalism are expected.
- Basic English and Japanese language skills are required.
