Are you a skilled technician looking for a challenging role in heavy diesel maintenance?

We are currently seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Fitter to join our team at Yilgarn Project.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a variety of mobile fleet and equipment, performing servicing, repair, and maintenance tasks to a high standard.

  • Main responsibilities include:
  • Performing routine maintenance and repairs on heavy diesel vehicles and equipment;
  • Completing breakdowns, services, and component change outs as required;
  • Sourcing technical information from relevant manuals and computer systems;
  • Maintaining high housekeeping standards throughout the workshop;
  • Carrying out pre-start checks to ensure vehicles are safe to operate;

To be successful in this role, you will require:

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A trade qualification as a Heavy Duty Diesel Fitter or equivalent;
  • A minimum of 2 years post-trade experience in mining or heavy earth moving induction;
  • Experience in general maintenance, breakdowns, component change outs, and servicing of CAT, Komatsu, and Hitachi mobile equipment;
  • Experience in vehicle air conditioning systems (desirable);
  • Proven compliance and commitment to health and safety protocols;
