About the RoleThe Toronto Western Family Health Team (TW FHT) is a multi-site, academic team focused on family and community health. As a Business Intelligence Project Specialist, you will work collaboratively with leadership and health professionals to identify and implement technology solutions that improve patient care, staff productivity, and data collection.
Key Responsibilities- Support the identification and implementation of technology solutions that enhance patient care and operational efficiency
- Manage and oversee the operation and integration of current IT platforms, including PSS, CHIME, OCEAN, and EPIC
- Maintain and expand data analytics and informatics solutions to support strategic and operational objectives
- Provide supervision to EMR Administrator in regards to platform improvements, data collection, and analysis
- Manage and evaluate quality improvement initiatives in alignment with UHN standards
- Completion of a Bachelor's Degree program in a registered health profession or Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Health Informatics, or recognized equivalent
- At minimum, 4 years of practical and related experience, ideally in a primary care team-based model
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in working with and supporting enterprise-level predictive analytics, dashboard development, simulation, and reporting
- Excellent relationship management and superb communication skills
