Job Title: Associate Director, Project Management Office


About the Role:


The Associate Director, Project Management Office plays a crucial role in leading and managing IT projects at Charles Sturt University. As a key member of the university's IT leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and providing high-quality project, portfolio, business process improvement, and business analysis services.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Develop and provide strategic advice on project management, business analysis, and business improvement frameworks, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Lead and manage dynamic teams on various IT projects, driving business transformation and improving processes.
  • Engage with stakeholders to provide advice and support for their needs, aligning with the university's strategic outcomes.
  • Analyse and optimise complex enterprise business processes to secure measurable benefits.

Requirements:



  • An in-depth understanding of project management, business analysis, and business improvement frameworks, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Demonstrated strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven people management skills, including experience in team management, recruitment, and development.
  • Experience in analysing and optimising complex enterprise business processes.
