Key Responsibilities:


As a Lead Tech BA at Westpac Group, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional results by leading a team of talented Business Analysts. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs, translate them into technical requirements, and ensure seamless implementation.


Key Accountabilities:



  • Work with Business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, communicate, validate and manage requirements for changes to systems, business processes, policies, information and data.
  • Translate User Stories & High Level Requirements into Technical Specifications for the Application implementation teams.
  • Look for ways to accelerate requirements gathering and continuously improve.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering and Enterprise Testing teams to validate the requirements which are built accordingly to the technical specifications.
  • Identify and define detailed system requirements and use cases.
  • Support the execution of product test and resolve issues.
  • Validate the design with the stakeholders to ensure that the design satisfies the requirements.
  • Lead, coach, mentor and motivate other Business Analysts to uplift their capability and showcase best practice.
  • Manage a team of Business Analysts which may include internal resources and partner teams.

Requirements:



  • 7 years + as an IT Business Analyst with skills in data analysis, system functional and non-functional analysis experience.
  • Financial Services or Professional Services background.
  • Risk & Regulatory experience.
  • People management experience.
  • Extensive experience in JIRA, Confluence, Agile.
  • A strong understanding of technology and business systems strategically and operationally.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Degree in either Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering.
  • Ability to work in the office a minimum of 2-3 days a week.
