We are seeking an experienced Disability Support Worker to join our team. This is a rewarding role that will enable you to make a positive contribution to the community while developing your personal skills.

As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing personalised support to individuals with disabilities, with a focus on those with mental health needs.

">

Key responsibilities include:

">

* Assisting participants with daily activities, personal care, and medication administration

">

* Transferring participants in and out of bed and wheelchairs using hoists and other equipment

">

* Ensuring care plans and information are followed and any changes are escalated efficiently and safely

">

* Using complex care equipment and carrying out complex care procedures

">

* Providing emotional support and companionship to participants and their families

">

* Ensuring participants' physical, emotional, and psychological well-being

">

Requirements include:

">

* A minimum Cert 3 in disability

">

* At least 1 year of experience as a Support Worker

">

* First Aid and CPR Certification

">

* NDIS Check - Yellow Card

">

* Working with Children Check

">

* NDIS Workers Orientation

">

* Driver's Licence

">

* Reliable Car

">
