Community Support Specialist

We are seeking a Community Support Specialist to join our team, providing person-centred support to individuals with disabilities and mental health challenges. Our goal is to empower them to live an independent life.

The successful candidate will be supporting members of their community in their own homes, assisting with personal care, and promoting independent living. Training will be provided, but some manual handling may be required.

A valid Driver's Licence and a working Vehicle with Insurance is also necessary for this role.

About the Role:
  • Support individuals with disabilities and mental health challenges in their own homes.
  • Assist with personal care and promote independent living.
  • Work as part of a dedicated team to make a positive impact in the community.
Requirements:
  • Caring & Nurturing, Active, Energetic, Reliable, and Compassionate attitude.
  • Previous experience in a similar community setting (not essential).
  • Ability to obtain NDIS Worker Screening clearance (including Working with Children's Check, First Aid/CPR, and Covid Vaccinations).
  • Valid Driver's Licence and a working Vehicle with Insurance.
