Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the management of risk across our organization. This role will involve identifying and mitigating risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and promoting a culture of risk awareness.

Main Responsibilities
  • Risk Governance: Develop and implement effective risk management strategies to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Compliance Support: Provide guidance and advice to stakeholders on risk management frameworks, control effectiveness, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Incident Management: Monitor and assess risks, incidents, and compliance breaches, and support root cause analysis and remediation activities.
  • Compliance Coordination: Coordinate and support compliance and obligations management, including policies, standards, and reporting requirements.
  • Risk Awareness: Foster a risk-aware culture by partnering with stakeholders and embedding risk management into day-to-day decision making.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline, automate, and uplift business processes.
Requirements
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in financial services with a focus on risk, compliance, or business controls.
  • Strong understanding of operational risk and compliance frameworks within financial services.
  • Experience in identifying, assessing, and managing operational and compliance risks.
  • Practical knowledge of regulatory obligations relevant to banking and financial services.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and provide clear, practical guidance.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes.
