Teaching Role in a Dynamic Education Environment

In this role, you will play a key part in helping the school improve student performance and educational outcomes aligned with the school's strategic plan and state-wide priorities.

  • You will have the content knowledge and pedagogical practice to meet the diverse needs of all students.
  • You will model exemplary classroom practice and mentor/coach other teachers to engage in critical reflection of their practice and support them to expand their capacity.
  • You will provide expert advice on content, processes and strategies that will shape individual and school professional learning.
  • You will supervise and train one or more student teachers.
  • You will assist staff to use student data to inform teaching approaches that enable targets related to improving student learning outcomes to be achieved.
Key Responsibilities

As a member of the teaching team, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering high-quality education to students across various year levels.
  • Mentoring and coaching colleagues to improve their teaching practices.
  • Developing and implementing effective lesson plans that cater to diverse student needs.
  • Assessing student progress and adjusting teaching methods accordingly.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to achieve school goals and objectives.
