Energy Contract Origination Leader

We are seeking an experienced commercial leader to drive our energy contracting strategy and originate long-term revenue agreements for renewable and firmed energy products.

This is a high-profile role, where you will lead the origination and execution of tailored energy contracts across a diverse range of buyers, delivering unique, commercially innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Originate and execute long-term energy contracts with large-scale buyers, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain deep relationships with senior leaders across the Australian energy landscape to create a strong pipeline of opportunities.
  • Build and manage a national buyer network to support project commercialisation and market expansion.
  • Own the end-to-end contracting process, including deal structuring, pricing, negotiation, and execution.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in energy contract origination or structured energy product sales.
  • Demonstrated track record of closing complex commercial energy transactions with large buyers or retailers.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain deep, senior-level relationships across the Australian energy landscape.
  • Deep understanding of electricity markets, renewable energy projects, and contract structures.
