Senior Accounts Receivable Officer

 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accounts Receivable Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of corporate clients and government agencies, ensuring timely invoicing, payment allocations, collection calls, bank and account reconciliations, debtor reporting, and analysis.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in full-function AR and credit control, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of medium and large-sized corporate clients and government agencies
  • Invoice customers and clients promptly and accurately
  • Process payment allocations and reconcile accounts
  • Conduct collection calls and emails to resolve outstanding debts
  • Prepare and present debtor reports and analysis to management
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in full-function AR and credit control
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel
