We are seeking a Discipline Lead to lead our multi-disciplinary Building Services business unit nationally. This career opportunity will enable you to lead, shape and develop our mechanical, electrical, fire protection and hydraulics capability to deliver for clients across key sectors including Health, Education, Defence, Industrial & Technology, Property and Transport.

You will be responsible for leadership, management and supervision of our Places Australia - Buildings Services teams. As a natural networker with established contacts and credibility in the Australian market, you will use your technical leadership and commercial acumen to grow our brand by winning and delivering projects aligned to our national strategy.

Your extensive consulting engineering experience will enable you to provide solutions and troubleshoot projects to deliver exceptional outcomes.

Key accountabilities include providing strategic leadership to our Design & Engineering Business, identifying opportunities and risks. You will proactively engage with new and existing clients to ensure Arcadis is best placed to deliver on their needs while meeting our own commercial objectives.

Delivering technical guidance and solutions to complex problems and developing your team by providing support and mentoring are also key responsibilities.

This is an excellent opportunity to lead an established team working on landmark projects that shape our cities and communities.

To be considered for this position, it is anticipated you will have extensive experience across all aspects of Buildings projects from an engineering perspective.

Candidates should ideally have commercial developer and healthcare experience and network, as well as well-developed commercial skills with a sound knowledge of the industry, demonstrated ability in sales and business development and entrepreneurship.

An established local network and track record of delivering exceptional service and solutions, relevant tertiary qualifications with postgraduate qualifications being highly regarded, and proven ability to lead with strong influencing, motivational and delegation skills are also required.
