Job Title: Executive Director, Intelligence and Support for Innovation, Transformation and Evaluation

This is a key leadership role within the Ministry of Health, responsible for driving the development and implementation of strategies that advance patient-centered care and evidence-based practices across NSW Health.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of strategies that advance patient-centered care and evidence-based practices across NSW Health.
  • Transform the State's healthcare system through effective leadership and collaboration.
  • Drive collaboration and empowerment within a highly specialized team.
  • Ensure evidence-based healthcare practices are integrated into healthcare delivery.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Doctoral degree in health systems research, clinical transformation, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in healthcare leadership roles with a specific focus on evidence-based practices, system transformation, and program evaluation.
  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare systems, regulations, quality improvement methodologies, and data analysis.
  • Demonstrated track record of academic publications in health services.
  • Exceptional leadership, team management, and communication skills.
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to translate vision into actionable plans.
  • Proficiency in change management and process improvement.
  • Strong commitment to patient-centered care and program evaluation.
