Mental Health Recovery Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Mental Health Recovery Support Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with lived experience of mental health issues to achieve their hopes and dreams.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individualized support to individuals with mental health issues, focusing on their strengths and recovery goals.
- Develop and implement personalized recovery plans, working collaboratively with individuals, families, and other support networks.
- Facilitate access to community resources, services, and opportunities that promote mental health and well-being.
- Conduct regular check-ins and progress reviews to ensure individuals are meeting their recovery goals.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to care.
- Certificate IV or above in a relevant field, or a minimum of 2 years of full-time experience working in the human services field.
- Strong commitment to recovery-based practice and a passion for supporting individuals with mental health issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
- Current Australian Driver's Licence and a reliable vehicle for work-related purposes.
