About the Role

We are seeking an experienced retail leader to join our team as a Store Manager at Myer Northland. This part-time position offers 33.5 hours of work over a Tuesday-Saturday roster, providing an excellent opportunity for career advancement.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a diverse team of fashion enthusiasts, driving customer-led sales targets, and ensuring exceptional service standards. Key responsibilities include:

  • Building and maintaining a customer-centric culture through outstanding service delivery.
  • Mentoring and inspiring team members to reach sales targets and achieve personal growth.
  • Monitoring store sales performance, identifying areas for improvement, and reporting results to senior management.
  • Ensuring impeccable store presentation through effective visual merchandising.
  • Proactively managing loss prevention and stock control.
  • Effectively managing rosters to optimize productivity and minimize costs.
  • Recruiting, training, and developing like-minded team members.
  • Maintaining a safe, healthy, and inclusive work environment in compliance with OH&S regulations.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Retail leadership/management experience with a passion for creating memorable customer experiences.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team.
  • Experience in training, coaching, and mentoring team members, as well as driving business growth through sales targets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
