Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Rehabilitation Consultant with expertise in physiotherapy to join our team on the Central Coast. As an experienced professional, you will play a vital role in assessing, planning, and implementing workplace rehabilitative programs to achieve positive return to work outcomes for our clients.

About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for a career changer or someone looking to take their skills to the next level. As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will work closely with insurance companies, medical practitioners, employers, and employees to provide expert advice and support. You will assess workers' transferable skills and potential through various means, including early intervention assessments, home assessments, worksite assessments, job task analyses, ergonomic assessments, and case management services.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess workers' skills and potential through comprehensive assessments
  • Develop and implement rehabilitation programs to achieve positive return to work outcomes
  • Liaise with stakeholders, including insurance companies, medical practitioners, and employers
  • Provide expert advice and support to clients and stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in physiotherapy
  • AHPRA registration
  • Experience within employment services (highly regarded)
  • Knowledge of Workers' Compensation and injury management (highly regarded)
  • Outstanding communication and networking skills
  • Excellent writing skills and experience writing reports
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Australian driver's licence and own car
  • Eligible to work permanently in Australia
