About This Opportunity

This is an exciting chance to become part of our Risk Management team, supporting the oversight of cyber and technology risk. As a Manager – Operational Risk, you will be working closely with senior leaders to enhance QBE's AUSPAC division risk management practices.

Your Responsibilities
  • Partner with the Head of 2nd Line Oversight and Technology, Cyber and Data teams to refine QBE AUSPAC's risk management procedures.
  • Provide independent oversight and challenge of Line 1 activities, including incident and issue management processes.
  • Deliver clear, actionable insights through business-friendly reporting for executive and board stakeholders.
  • Conduct thematic reviews and deep dives into cyber, technology, and data risk areas, ensuring effective controls and compliance.
  • Advise on the design and effectiveness of controls, guaranteeing alignment with regulatory expectations.
  • Contribute to integrated assurance plans and the development of enterprise-wide risk, compliance, and assurance frameworks.
  • Engage regularly with senior leaders to influence accountability and uplift risk maturity.
