Job Opportunity: Stock Controller

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Stock Controller to join our Supply Chain team in Regency Park. This position requires exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work efficiently and proactively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and raise stock transfer requests to ensure timely delivery of products to customers.
  • Support the accurate reconciliation and updating of stock records by identifying and resolving discrepancies within the inventory system.
  • Liaise with state DC stock controllers to ensure efficient finalisation of outgoing transfers.
  • Analyse inventory reports to identify trends, maintain healthy stock levels, and prevent shortages across SA/NT branches and warehouses.
  • Collaborate with the Supply Chain team to drive initiatives that minimise dead stock and improve turnover.
  • Place and manage backorders through the Main Warehouse to ensure consistent and timely stock availability for the network.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of inventory control and management systems, including ERP platforms.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, essential for a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
  • Proven ability to work efficiently and proactively with attention to detail, quality, and a results-driven approach.
  • Proficient in core MS Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Experience with Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne and OBIEE is highly desirable.
