Advanced Family Therapist

The Senior Social Worker will deliver high-level psychosocial and parenting interventions to vulnerable families participating in the Sustaining NSW Families (SNF) program.
This role involves working with complex cases that may be exposed to trauma, requiring advanced therapeutic skills to conduct comprehensive assessments and counselling.
The successful candidate will possess a degree in Social Work, extensive experience in relevant clinical settings, and demonstrated high-level verbal and written communication skills.
They will also possess high-level time management, organisational skills, and computer literacy.
About You- A degree in Social Work from an accredited course providing eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
- Extensive experience working with families with complex clinical presentations in relevant clinical settings.
- Demonstrated advanced therapeutic skills in conducting complex psychosocial assessments and counselling.
The successful candidate will work autonomously with minimal direct clinical supervision, using well-developed interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
They will require a current unrestricted drivers' licence and be willing to travel for work.
