Job Description

Job Title: Data and Configuration Manager EWIS J&A

Role Overview:

The Data and Configuration Manager will play a critical role in supporting the EWIS – Joint and Air sustainment programs by providing configuration knowledge to facilitate technical and engineering activities. This position is accountable for ensuring quality and compliance with relevant legislative, policy, and regulatory frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Sustainment management unit (SMU)
  • Demonstrate expertise in engineering systems and processes
  • Undertake configuration activities in accordance with SAE 649C configuration principles
  • Offer subject matter expert advice on Configuration Management and Data Management (CM/DM) to SMU members
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures, and resolve or escalate any compliance issues
  • Facilitate CM and DM audits
  • Mentor the organization on CM/DM services, concepts, policies, and procedures
  • Assist with the configuration control board (CCB) and enact changes as directed
  • Demonstrate an understanding of Data Management principles
  • Ensure Objective access and data storage are compliant with CASG QMSE

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or relevant industry experience
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in a Defence or related technical industry
