Job Description

Job Title: Data and Configuration Manager EWIS J&A

Role Overview:

The Data and Configuration Manager will provide critical support to the EWIS – Joint and Air sustainment programs by delivering configuration knowledge to facilitate technical and engineering activities. This role ensures quality and compliance with relevant legislative, policy, and regulatory frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Sustainment management unit (SMU)
  • Demonstrate expertise in engineering systems and processes
  • Undertake configuration activities in accordance with SAE 649C configuration principles
  • Offer subject matter expert advice on Configuration Management and Data Management (CM/DM) to SMU members
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures, resolving or escalating any issues
  • Facilitate CM and DM audits
  • Mentor the organization on CM/DM services, concepts, policies, and procedures
  • Assist with the configuration control board (CCB) and enact changes as directed
  • Demonstrate an understanding of Data Management principles
  • Ensure Objective access and data storage are compliant with CASG QMSE

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or relevant industry experience (Mandatory)
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in a Defence or related technical industry (Desirable)
