Job Title: Data and Configuration Manager EWIS J&A

Overview:

The Data and Configuration Manager will play a critical role in supporting the EWIS – Joint and Air sustainment programs by providing configuration knowledge to facilitate technical and engineering activities.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be accountable for ensuring compliance with legislative frameworks, government decision-making, and Defence's mission and policy requirements.

Key Tasks and Skills:

  • Provide administrative support to the Sustainment management unit (SMU)
  • Demonstrate understanding of engineering systems and processes
  • Undertake configuration activities in accordance with SAE 649C configuration principles
  • Provide subject matter expert advice on Configuration Management and Data Management (CM/DM) to SMU members
  • Track and resolve compliance issues, and facilitate CM and DM audits
  • Mentor the organization on CM / DM services, concepts, policies, and procedures
  • Assist with the configuration control board (CCB) and enact changes as directed

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess relevant tertiary qualifications or industry experience, with a minimum of 7 years' experience in a Defence or related technical industry.
