Job Title: Production Supervisor

As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring efficient operations and maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and manage production activities across all areas
  • Conduct daily handovers and toolbox talks with the team to align priorities
  • Drive continuous improvement while maintaining safety and quality
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams for troubleshooting and repairs
  • Work with batch and furnace teams to ensure stable and safe operations
  • Lead, coach, and support team members to foster a high-performing environment
Requirements:
  • Significant experience in manufacturing or production management role, ideally in heavy industry or a continuous process environment
  • Proven leadership skills and experience managing rotating shift rosters
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing safety and quality standards
  • Experience with automated production machinery and systems
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
About the Opportunity:

Our new state-of-the-art Glass factory represents a significant investment, where we recycle up to 200,000 tonnes of Queensland's glass annually to produce 1 billion bottles a year. With the latest advanced machinery and control systems, we produce high-quality glass products efficiently and consistently. As we are located next to our box factory and beverage can plants, we create a beverage container precinct to support customers and staff career pathways.

As the Shift Manager, you will oversee the glass production process during assigned shifts, including both Hot End and Cold End operations, within the glass manufacturing facility. You will monitor and manage production activities, conduct daily handovers, drive continuous improvement, coordinate with maintenance teams, and lead team members to foster a high-performing environment.
