Key Position: Senior Educator

The role of a Senior Educator is crucial in the early childhood development process. This position offers an opportunity to lead a team of educators, create and implement educational programs, and ensure that every learning experience meets the needs of all children.

About the Job:

  • This is a full-time role with 38 hours per week.
  • You will be working in the Toddler Room leading a team of dedicated Educators.
  • Your primary responsibility will be to develop and deliver exceptional educational programs that cater to the diverse needs of children.

Responsibilities:

  1. To lead a team of Educators in the Toddler Room, creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for children.
  2. To collaborate with the Centre Leadership Team and the Educational Leader to observe, inform, and continuously improve teaching practices.
  3. To take charge of your own room, ensuring that every learning experience is tailored to meet the needs of all children.
  4. To work closely with the Centre Leadership Team to set goals and achieve better outcomes for the future.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Diploma in Early Childhood or ACECQA approved equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
  • Current VIC Working with Children Check.
