Estimating Professional Opportunity

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Estimating Cadet to join our team. This role is perfect for those who want to start their construction career with a leading company.

About The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing requisitions, raising purchase orders, allocating AWPO codes, conducting monthly reporting, providing process support to Site, Estimating, and Procurement teams, collating data for review, and identifying data trends.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of Click homes requisitions.
  • Raise purchase orders in Databuild following company guidelines and processes.
  • Allocate AWPO codes to projects and cross-reference them as required.
  • Track performance against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and target AWPO per division/team.
  • Provide AWPO process support to Site, Estimating, and Procurement teams.
  • Collate data for review to identify areas for process improvement and cost reduction.
  • Identify data trends and assist in providing solutions to manage project cost.
Requirements
  • Currently undertaking a tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Cost Management, or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong Excel skills and Microsoft Suite knowledge.
  • Exceptional work ethic and excellent organisational skills.
  • A positive and proactive team member who demonstrates alignment with our values.
