Risk Leadership Role

We're seeking a seasoned professional to lead our credit risk reporting and insights function, partnering with key stakeholders across Consumer Finance to deliver data-driven insights and inform business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee end-to-end credit risk analysis processes, from data extraction and analysis to interpretation and reporting.
  • Develop and deliver data-driven insights on credit risk performance, collaborating with finance, collections, and product teams.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders, delivering insights in a clear and impactful manner.
  • Mentor and develop team members, ensuring high performance in technical and non-technical areas.
  • Design and implement advanced analytics tools and techniques to enhance credit risk analysis.
  • Support ongoing monitoring and reporting of key performance metrics and provide forward-looking insights on emerging risks.
  • Collaborate with technology and data engineering teams to ensure optimal data infrastructure for analytics needs.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in credit risk management, credit risk analytics, or related field.
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, or R, and experience with data visualisation tools like Tableau or Power BI.
  • Strong coaching skills and ability to coach and mentor high-performing analysts.
  • Excellent communication skills, with ability to convey complex insights clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working in agile environment and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
