Job Title: Educational Leadership Role

Join us in this key leadership position where you will play a pivotal role in driving educational excellence and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation within our school community.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the implementation of whole-school improvement initiatives related to the school strategic plan and school priorities. This will involve developing and implementing high-impact teaching strategies that respond to student learning needs, as well as supporting teachers to evaluate the impact of learning and teaching programs on student learning growth.

In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the provision of professional development and developing individual and team development plans for teaching staff within the priorities of the school. They will also lead and manage staff performance and development, including reviewing staff performance and providing feedback to improve teaching practice.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for teaching demonstration lessons, leading and managing the development of the school's assessment and reporting policies and practices, and leading the implementation of the school operations and policies related to student welfare and discipline.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Demonstrated expert knowledge of the relevant curriculum
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage the implementation of school priorities, and the teaching of literacy and numeracy skills across the curriculum
  • Demonstrated ability to lead the planning and implementation of high-impact teaching strategies that respond to student learning needs
  • Demonstrated ability to support teachers to evaluate the impact of learning and teaching programs on student learning growth
