Workers Compensation Specialist

A rare opportunity exists for a seasoned Workers Compensation professional to join our Melbourne team.

The Role:
  • Manage clients workplace risk programs, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
  • Provide Outsourced Return to Work support services to diverse clients.
  • Maintain comprehensive client data and update as necessary.
  • Generate in-depth analytical reports for clients.
  • Complete premium renewals and policy placements for national workers compensation insurance.
  • Conduct premium forecasting.
  • Maximise revenue from the existing client base through continuous analysis of client profitability and optimisation of group functions.
  • Support business growth by identifying and securing new opportunities through cross-selling of complementary services.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in a workers compensation role or similar within an insurance or self-insurance environment.
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of workers compensation claims principles and processes, ideally across multiple states.
  • The ability to identify key policy/premium influencing factors and provide assistance to the claims process.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Excel.
  • Excellent report writing and communication skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with clients.
