About the Role

As a Senior Lecturer in the Bachelor of Community Services program, you will play a crucial role in the continuous development, enhancement, and delivery of the curriculum, ensuring adherence to the Higher Education Standards Framework. Your focus will be on providing a high-quality, student-centered educational experience. This position allows for flexibility, including the option to work from home during non-teaching hours, and offers part-time opportunities.

About You

The ideal candidate will possess a postgraduate qualification in community work, social services, or a related field, along with a minimum of two years of industry experience. A solid understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of the discipline is essential. You should be committed to engaging in at least 20 hours of professional development annually. Proficiency in technology and the ability to create innovative strategies to enhance student engagement are highly desirable.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Completion or enrollment in a PhD or Master's program related to Community Services
  • Relevant experience in tertiary education with a proven track record of teaching success.
