About the Role:

  • The Resolution Specialist plays a vital role in managing and resolving complaints within the mental health and wellbeing system, maintaining independence and promoting improved outcomes.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Managing and resolving complaints through informal and formal resolution approaches
  • Identifying quality and safety issues arising from complaints
  • Providing information and making recommendations for service improvements to mental health service providers

About Us:

  • The MHWC is an accountability body in the mental health and wellbeing system established under the new Act and recommended by the Royal Commission into Victoria's Mental Health System

Requirements:

  • An effective communicator with strong solution-focused skills
  • Able to provide an effective and trauma-informed response to initial enquiries and manage a caseload of complaints
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
