We are seeking a dedicated and organised Maintenance Officer to play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our properties. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for undertaking maintenance activities and providing exceptional customer service to residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake repairs & services for residents, staff and visitors, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
- Work collaboratively with the team on a full-time basis, from Monday to Friday, to achieve common goals.
- Identify and address potential maintenance issues proactively, preventing problems before they arise.
- Provide empathetic and respectful service to all residents, addressing their maintenance concerns with kindness and understanding.
- Perform duties with integrity and honesty, maintaining transparency in all maintenance activities.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a maintenance assistant or handyperson, or equivalent experience in a similar role.
- Ability to effectively manage and prioritise multiple tasks, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.
- Understanding of machinery use and tools required for the job, with a strong emphasis on safety protocols.
- Australian Drivers Licence currently held, and willingness to obtain additional certifications as required.
- Computer literate, with basic knowledge of using Excel, Word, Outlook, and other applications.
- Ability to take initiative and work independently, as well as collaborate with the team.
