We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Vales Point Power Station.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the efficient operation and reliability of our plant systems. This includes conducting high-level electrical and control maintenance, leading small projects from design to installation, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance Execution: Conduct thorough inspections and execute maintenance activities to ensure peak efficiency and reliability of our plant systems.
  • Project Leadership: Lead and contribute to project planning, execution, and completion, ensuring effective delivery and implementation of improvements.
  • Team Development: Foster a collaborative work environment by mentoring, guiding, and developing apprentices, trainees, and team members.
  • Safety and Compliance: Prioritize safety in every task, adhering to company standards and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

About You:

  • You possess relevant trade qualifications, such as electrical or electronics, and have gained hands-on experience in real-world settings.
  • You bring expertise in modern power stations or heavy industry, with a strong interest in working with large process plants.
  • You excel in analytical thinking, fault finding, analysis, and problem-solving.
