Export Operations Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced professional to coordinate export operations, manage logistics and shipping, and ensure compliance with regulations in our Sydney office.

About the Role:
  • Documentation and Compliance: Prepare and review shipping documents, ensuring compliance with import/export regulations, and managing licenses and permits.
  • Logistics and Shipping: Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers to arrange shipments, track progress, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Maintain communication with international clients, addressing their inquiries, and resolving any issues related to shipments.
  • Negotiation and Cost Management: Negotiate freight rates and other costs associated with export operations, and potentially identify opportunities to optimize costs.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of Export Regulations: Understand international trade laws, customs procedures, and export restrictions.
  • Excellent Communication and Negotiation Skills: Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders, negotiate rates, and resolve issues.
  • Organizational and Problem-Solving Skills: Manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and troubleshoot problems related to export operations.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy in documentation and compliance with regulations.
  • Proficiency in relevant software: Familiarity with logistics management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.

English language is essential.
