
Customer Support Specialist

The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting planned maintenance servicing to external customers, ensuring a healthy work-life balance and flexible schedules.
- Inspect and quote damage repairs to hire fleet vehicles
- Promote and sign up retail overhauls and PMP service/maintenance schedules for workshop and road service
- Approach potential customers to increase customer base and turnover
- Visually inspect and report on the condition of customer equipment on site and identify retail opportunities
This role is suitable for someone who enjoys building relationships with customers and has a strong background in customer service. The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal skills, strong interpersonal skills, and exceptional time management skills to prioritise tasks.
Key Responsibilities:- Inspect and quote damage repairs to hire fleet vehicles
- Promote and sign up retail overhauls and PMP service/maintenance schedules for workshop and road service
- Approach potential customers to increase customer base and turnover
- Visually inspect and report on the condition of customer equipment on site and identify retail opportunities
- Pursue service department business development opportunities, deal with customer enquiries, and prepare equipment repair quotations
- Liaise with existing customers to ensure satisfaction with services and facilities
- Provide a central point of contact for customer service
- Visual inspection and reporting of damage to hire fleet vehicles
- Customer analysis and rediscovery
- Assist customers to ensure their equipment needs are met and maintained
- Manage call cycle program
- Strong customer service focus and skills with a professional attitude and approach
- Strong mechanical aptitude or trade qualified would be an advantage
- Ability to communicate professionally and courteously at all times
- Good computer skills with a sound grasp of the Microsoft suite of programs
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Exceptional time management skills to prioritise tasks
- Strong sense of teamwork and work ethic
- Five weeks of annual leave
- Additional five days of anniversary leave each year, on top of four weeks of annual leave
- Optional 9-day fortnight or monthly day off
