Job Overview

As an Electrical Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing electrical packages on large-scale projects.

  • Ensure that all work undertaken is in line with project scope and meets operational requirements.
  • Develop and implement project schedules, budgets, and forecasts to drive business growth.
  • Supervise electrical discipline work and ensure it adheres to quality, cost, and time constraints.
  • Monitor progress and identify potential problems related to budgets, schedules, engineering standards.
  • Identify risks and develop appropriate controls and mitigations to mitigate their impact.
  • Develop and implement project controls and specifications, schedules, and cost estimates to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Establish strong relationships with clients through effective communication and collaboration across teams.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering.
  • 4+ years of relevant industry experience in a similar role within the mining, construction, or infrastructure sectors.
  • Knowledge of control systems and instrumentation.
  • Demonstrated experience working on engineering projects within the mining industry.
  • Proven ability to interface with clients and manage stakeholders effectively.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to deliver work within agreed budget, timeframe, and customer requirements.
