Fabrication Workshop Operations Manager

As a seasoned operations leader, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing our fabrication workshop team in Emerald. This exciting opportunity is designed for individuals with a strong background in safety management and hands-on experience in leading teams.
Main Responsibilities:- Develop and implement strategies to enhance team performance and productivity
- Lead by example, mentoring team members to achieve high standards of quality and safety
- Manage project timelines, prioritize tasks, and make informed decisions under pressure
- Source materials and equipment to ensure timely completion of projects
- Nurture key relationships with clients, councils, mines & government entities to drive business growth
- A trade qualification in Fabrication or Mechanical
- Proven experience in workshop and site management
- Expertise in quoting, estimating, and job costing
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and deliver results
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
