Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled professional to assume the role of Terminal Aviation Security Manager at Melbourne Airport. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading day-to-day operational activities and ensuring compliance excellence.

  • You'll be the first point of escalation for security-related concerns and champion our core values and leadership principles.
">Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and coordinate daily operations and compliance activities.
  2. Act as the first escalation point for security-related concerns.
  3. Conduct spot audits and support internal investigations.
  4. Monitor staffing, rostering, and operational calendars.
  5. Drive performance management and staff development.
  6. Communicate operational changes and release SOPs/toolbox talks.
  7. Champion customer service aligned with ISS and Melbourne Airport standards.
  8. Support innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.
  9. Promote and maintain OH&S standards and practices.

  • Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
  • Experience in managing operational compliance and performance.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Hospitality, sales, or customer-facing roles.
  • Aviation industry or airline operational experience highly desirable.
