About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Airport Operations Manager to oversee our ground services team in Melbourne, Australia.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to take on a leadership role and contribute to delivering exceptional customer service to our customers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a team of airport staff to ensure smooth airport operations, expediting departures, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing airport staff to ensure efficient ramp handling and on-time flight closure
  • Providing support to the Airport Services Manager during flight disruptions and other challenging situations
  • Coordinating with airport staff to plan and allocate resources effectively
  • Leading and developing a high-performing team, promoting a positive work environment, and encouraging continuous improvement

Requirements:

  • Relevant college or university qualification
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in airport operations or a related field at a supervisory level
  • Excellent communication skills, fluency in English, and knowledge of relevant regulations
  • Able to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and maintain high standards of customer service
