Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned and strategic leader to oversee the entire supply chain process, including sourcing, packaging, contract negotiations, procurement, and distribution operations within the FMCG industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective supply chain strategies to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers, vendors, and logistics partners to ensure seamless delivery of products.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate supply chain risks, and develop contingency plans to minimize disruptions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define supply chain forecasts, manage milk volumes from farmers, and integrate risk analysis and contingency planning.
  • Develop and implement data-driven decision-making processes to enhance operational metrics and improve supply chain performance.
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate long-term supply agreements to ensure competitive pricing and quality.
  • Develop and implement tanker routes and driver schedules, as well as manage third-party logistics for the transportation of finished products.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety standards and maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in a comparable role, supported by relevant qualifications.
  • Proven ability to manage relationships and effectively communicate across all organizational levels.
  • A leader who promotes a culture of trust, engagement, and high performance.
  • Background in managing large-scale manufacturing or operations, with a preference for experience in FMCG or dairy production.
  • Strong skills in data-driven decision-making and vendor management.
