Event Technology Director

Cultivate a strong relationship between the onsite team and venue management to deliver high-quality events that meet timeliness, conduct, and operational requirements.


The Opportunity

This role involves ensuring efficient event staging services, building relationships with venues and clients, and providing guidance on audio-visual equipment and digital solutions.


Key Responsibilities
  • Manage event staging services to run smoothly and safely within venues.
  • Bulk and maintain relationships with venues and clients for successful client relations and smooth event execution.
  • Educate clients and venue staff on suitable audio-visual equipment, digital options, and crew to meet their presentation needs.
  • Maintain crew rosters and schedules.
  • Identify areas for improvement in operational processes.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring for individual and team development.

Requirements
  • Prior experience in events or sales environment.
  • Relevant experience in AV technology.
  • Excellent planning, organisational, time management & account management skills.
  • Strong sales and business acumen, track record in managing a high-performing sales team.
  • Prior experience in rostering and cost management.
  • Qualification in Hospitality or Events highly regarded.
