Compliance Professional Job Overview

The Compliance Professional will support the organization's compliance manager in delivering high-quality compliance services across the company. This role is responsible for contributing to the enhancement of the company's compliance framework and promoting a strong culture of compliance within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining registers of compliance obligations.
  • Coordinate the design and roll out of compliance plans across the company to ensure plans are operationalized throughout the business units, including controls and monitoring testing programs.
  • Support the company's compliance obligations and promote a positive culture of compliance as an integral part of ensuring good governance and operational excellence.
  • Act as a proactive advisor to ensure identified compliance requirements are effectively managed and changes are implemented.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including legal, risk management, and business leaders, to promote a culture of compliance across the organization.
  • Undertake compliance assurance activities, and document outcomes appropriately.
  • Provide compliance advice on project initiatives.
  • Conduct incident assessments involving evaluating and analyzing compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and managing recording of registers and ongoing reporting.
  • Support the development and ongoing management of self-assessment systems ensuring ongoing compliance of responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in compliance (highly desirable).
  • Knowledge and understanding of the industry and relevant compliance obligations.
  • Experience in managing obligations within the financial services or insurance industry.
