This role involves delivering high-quality care to residents, aligning with their individualised social and emotional needs, preferences, and choices. The successful candidate will be part of a self-motivated team that fosters a positive culture and approach to residents' well-being.
- Deliver safe and effective care to residents in accordance with their care plans.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Participate in regular training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team to achieve shared goals and outcomes.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Experience in aged care or a similar field as a Personal Care Assistant.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
- A passion for providing person-centred care that meets the unique needs and preferences of each resident.
- Mandatory: valid Police Clearance and/or National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Screening Clearance to undertake the inherent requirements of the role.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
