We are seeking highly skilled Consultant Anaesthetists to join our multidisciplinary team, providing safe and effective person-centred care.
The successful candidate will contribute to academic, research, education, training & supervision roles in the Department of Anaesthesia and Perioperative Medicine.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a dynamic individual to provide high-quality anaesthetic services across our health sites.
About the Role
- Provide clinical leadership through active involvement in patient care.
- Be available to medical colleagues for consultation and liaison as appropriate regarding patient care.
- Support academic, research, education, training & supervision (both undergraduate and postgraduate) roles in the Department of Anaesthesia and Perioperative Medicine.
- Contribute to ongoing service improvement and clinical and workforce innovation to ensure we provide high-quality accessible anaesthetic services.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Specialist registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Fellowship of the Australian & New Zealand College of Anaesthetists.
- For full Paediatric scope of practice recognition, a 12-month fellowship in a recognised tertiary Paediatric hospital is required.
