
Procurement Specialist

The role of a Contracts Officer plays a pivotal part in ensuring procurement processes are transparent, compliant, and aligned with best practices.
This position is responsible for working with customers to prepare and release tender documentation, coordinating tender review panels, and overseeing the closing and analysis of tenders.
Additionally, the successful applicant will be required to assist in the awarding of service contracts, undertake research and preparation of final contract documentation, and review contractor performance.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will require:
- Qualifications or strong experience in Procurement, Contracts, or Administration (e.g. Certificate IV in Business Administration)
- A current Class C Driver's Licence
- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
- Proven ability to manage time and priorities in a busy environment
- Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office and contract management systems
