Procurement Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and proactive procurement specialist to manage our inventory purchasing process. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of purchasing principles and the ability to negotiate with suppliers to secure the best possible prices.

The successful applicant will be responsible for purchasing materials, equipment, and supplies in accordance with company policies and procedures. This will involve monitoring purchase orders, raising purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery of supplies.

  • Purchasing materials, equipment, and supplies at optimal prices
  • Monitoring purchase orders to ensure compliance with company policies
  • Raising purchase orders and ensuring timely delivery of supplies
  • Liaising with suppliers regarding ordering, quoting, invoicing, timings, and quality
  • Reviewing and processing all invoicing queries and discrepancies
  • Maintaining stock buffer levels in line with Materials Requirements Plan
  • Maintaining all purchasing records

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience with purchasing applications and MS Office
  • Strong customer service skills
