Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner to lead our team and ensure quality service delivery to NDIS participants.

The ideal candidate will have a degree qualification in Psychology, Social Work or similar, experience mentoring behaviour support practitioners and strong administration skills.



Key Responsibilities
  • Guiding and coaching practitioners
  • Reviewing positive behaviour support plans
  • Encouraging a team-oriented approach to evaluation of service delivery
  • Monitoring your teams' goals and objectives throughout the year and participating in annual performance reviews
  • Developing partnerships with service providers, community agencies and government bodies

The role requires strong leadership and administrative skills, as well as the ability to provide professional information and advice on evidence-based approaches to reduce challenging behaviour.



Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree qualification in Psychology, Social Work or similar
  • Experience mentoring behaviour support practitioners
  • Strong administration skills
