Job Description

You will provide expertise to staff in positive behaviour support and therapeutic support.

The primary role is to develop individualised strategies for people with disability that reduce behaviours of concern and minimises restrictive practices.

Main Responsibilities
  • Developing behaviour support plans containing evidence-based strategies
  • Ensuring interventions are in accordance with best practice and contemporary positive behaviour support
  • Facilitating planning and training events promoting team development and person-centred thinking

You will have a pro-active attitude, high degree of initiative and strong desire to achieve outstanding outcomes for clients and staff.

Requirements

Ideally, you'll have:

  • Tertiary qualification in Psychology qualified to deliver behaviour support services
  • Experience in the disability, counselling or mental health sectors

A Victorian Drivers Licence is required.
